REPAIR SHOP

By Appointment Only

Tube guitar amplifiers are my specialty. Email me to set up an appointment for repair: fazioamps@gmail.com

I strive to ensure an amp’s stability and reliability, while maintaining as much original character as possible!

Repair Shop Information & Policy:

  • To book an appointment, shoot me an email with information about your amp, and the issue(s) you are experiencing. Note, it can take a few days for me to respond.

  • I am limiting my intake to (primarily) vintage, pre-1990’s tube amps. There are some exceptions, including reissue Fender amps, Hot Rod, and Blues Jr models.

  • I take a $100 deposit (per amp) upon drop off, which goes towards the repair cost at the end. The deposit will be invoiced via email, and will be due upon drop-off. This is non-refundable unless the amp is picked up before I provide an estimate.

  • Depending on my workload, it can take 2-4 weeks to receive a repair estimate after drop-off. If you have a deadline, please let me know.

  • My labor rate is $100/hour + parts. Typically, amps are billed for 1.5-3 hours of labor depending on the issues and originality of the amp. My minimum charge is $100.

  • I try to keep total turnaround time at 4-6 weeks, but this can be prolonged due to an extensive backlog, difficult/time-consuming restorations, or parts scarcity. Keep in mind I am one person, and I treat each amp like my own. It can take hours (or days) to get an amp in its best shape.

  • Upon completion, you will receive an invoice via email. Payment is due immediately. After 5 days, there will be a 3.5% increase per day until the invoice is paid.

  • Once I notify you that your amp is complete, please pick it up within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in a $10/day storage fee. If you are out of town or are unable to pick up within the 10 days, please let me know!

  • If you do not pick up your amp within 45 days, it will become the property of Fazio Electric.

  • I warranty my work for 90 days, so if anything comes up after the repair, please let me know!
